Justin Chadwin as Goku = Epic Fail.
Im 18 years old and Im obsessed with DBZ And some of the things in DB evolution let me down ,,big time..
The Actor of Master Roshi Didn;t have the funny sleeze vibe he was supposed to have.
Justin Chatwin fits the bill when it comes to the innocence and kind nature of goku, but not the tough side( Sayain side). He better pump up if he wants to achieve the super sayain look.
And Krillian was originally goku’s friend first,,,why the hell did yumcha come into it earlier. In the dragonball series all the major characters met at the world matial arts tournament,,,thats where is should off started. 5/10
This was the worst thing to ever happen to the Dragonball series ever. James Wong you should be ashamed of yourself for turning one of the greatest cartoons into one of the worst movies ever. Dragonball means so much to so many people that it is almost inconceivable that you would make such a horrific cinematic interpretation, put in (what seemed like) no effort, and be allowed to release it to the general public.

Dragonball Evolution needs a reboot.
Last airbender was crap to be honest. They should make a dragonball movie with a dark element to it. Give it a an 15-18 rating and have a lot of blowing things up and action packed.
Absolutely great movie. it was chessy and fun. superb adaptation of the original dragonball series (not z). sorry for the offended “otakus” but it is the truth. can’t wait to see the second part.
Look. I don’t know exactly what making a movie entails, but if you can’t handle the heat, get the hell out of the kitchen!! The Dragon Ball saga was incredible and you ruined it. You can’t be so freaking stupid that you would take krillin out of the picture. He was the driving force which made goku snap and turn super sayain!! Seriously man. Do your homework before you take the test!! And if your going to start the dragon ball series with goku being so old, then make him stronger!!!! Idiot!! Epic let down to soooooooo many fans. So i finally decided to watch it cause i feared it would fail and guess what it did, what kind of boguss background to Piccilo was that he teamed with an Ozzaro really, Goku never went to school , bulmas hair in this was hardly green and where the heck is Gokus best friend Krillin my Lord next time let the Japanese do it scene you missed the anime and manga completely. Man this sucked balls air bending what the hell they have Ki blast in DB and crappy air bending darn it man you tortured the movie for us original fans and though Goku was a dunce he was excellent and ki and fighting because its in his DNA as a Sayian he passed the Kamehameha wave in one try and where the heck is Chi Chi dad my Gosh leave this anime alone and never go near it again.
I heard the rumor you are gonna do the second part of this trilogy. I just wanna say: please, in the name of God, DONT DO IT. Why wanna screw up a legendary serie like DBZ? You changed all the original history, the plot was horrible and the characters never understood his role in the film. I guess you didnt ever watch a season of DBZ or read the manga. And the special effects were horrible. I love your TV shows but producing films are not your speciality. And if you really wanna do a second part, reboot the movie or is gonna be the biggest epic fail in the history of adaptions.

Ok Robert Pattinson is by far not the best character for Begeta if ur looking for and uptight, short black hair guy it could be me I’m everything about DBZ I could even play Gohan but please dot pick actors that are not good for the role and idk why Bulma doesn’t have blue eyes and hair, that’s the original Buruma (Bulma)! Listen if ur interested in an amateur actor but fast learner and knows alot about the series and characters email me please don’t hesitate, all I want is to the best DBZ movie to come out and for that u might need help hehe. Was this a ‘B’ movie? Not a joke! It looks like a B movie and there was no storyline.
I am a long time fan, and was looking forward to being able to use DB Evo to show friends the series. It backfired. Out of 6, none liked the movie. Noone really knew what was going on. Even as a no storyline braindead action movie it sucked.
It was a quickly made movie in the pursuit of money, nothing else, im sad to say so.
Find another crew, and make a real DB movie (Only use fans to direct, produce, write and edit). This one I do not consider to be related with the series.
for all you punks compaining it wasn’t on point with the DBZ storyline… ummm morons it’s Dragonball… now to you people to made this atrocity please sit down and read the mangas or watch the animes and get it right. This series could make you tens of millions even hundreds if you do it right. Yes that means it will cost you more but for the love of god if your going to do something it’s best to do it right.
